CHICKEN AND WAFFLES

FT. CUTINO SAUCE CO. HABANERO AND JALAPEÑO HOT SAUCES

Ingredients

Chicken

- 4-5 lbs chicken tenders
- 1 Pint buttermilk
- 1 oz. Cutino Sauce Co. Habanero (add more for desired heat level)
- 2 Tbsp. Salt

Breading

- 2 cups Flour
- 1 ½ Tbsp. Salt
- 1 Tbsp. Granulated Garlic
- ½ Tbsp. Cayenne
- ¼ Tbsp. Paprika
- ½ Tbsp. Red pepper powder
- ¼ Tbsp. Baking powder

Syrup

- 1 cup Maple Syrup
- 1 oz. Cutino Sauce Co. Jalapeño (add more for desired heat level)

Waffles

- Make a batch from a store bought mix or your own recipe

Instructions

1. Brine chicken in buttermilk, Habanero sauce, and salt for a minimum of 4 hours up to overnight.

2. Combine breading ingredients in a bowl and dredge chicken directly from buttermilk.

3. Fry chicken at 325 for 5-7 minutes.

4. Place chicken on waffles and drizzle with Jalapeño syrup.
